Understanding The Process

As An Intended Parent

Consultation & Onboarding

Understanding this complex process is the first phase as you begin. A detailed consultation is provided to you by our team of experts to ensure you are educated and have the resources to move forward. We go through Surrogacy and Egg Donation A-Z to ensure you're well informed and can make the decision to take next steps.

Screening

Intended Parents are required to complete screening steps just as our Surrogates and Egg Donors are. As an Intended Parent, you'll complete a background check and psychological evaluation to enter the program and prepare for matching.

Matching

This is such an exciting time in the journey! Intended Parents will work closely with their case manager to discuss unique matching criteria and their expectations for their match relationship. Profiles are reviewed online first and then a video conference meet to get to know your potential carrier. Egg donors are reviewed online, with the potential of a video, depending on their anonymity status.

Clinic & Legal

Medical Screening is performed by your chosen fertility clinic to ensure the Surrogate and Egg Donor meets the medical requirements and is cleared by your RE. Once cleared, you enter the legal phase and complete the Gestational Surrogacy Agreement (GSA).

Transfer & Pregnancy

A daily calendar of meds and instructions will be shared by the fertility clinic to the IPs and Surrogate as you prepare for the embryo transfer. Once completed, we hope for a successful result and the appropriate care begins!

Post-Natal

Our post-natal support is designed to ease your journey into parenthood, making sure you have all the information and resources you need to cherish every moment with your new addition. Parenthood is an incredible adventure, and we're here to support you every step of the way.

Emily is a very special woman, who I am forever grateful for. Not only has she been a gestational carrier many times, she helps connect and match IPs with other gestational carriers, and has helped change the lives of so many couples. My husband and I had been struggling for years with infertility, and started to look into surrogacy, which I had minimal knowledge of. So many questions, worries, all unknown and unanswered, and I did not know where to begin. Then stepped in amazing Emily. Emily answered all of my questions, explained the entire process involved in surrogacy, and provided hope that my dreams of a family can one day come true, as a result of amazing women like herself. Solely because of Emily’s generosity to helping others, she is the reason my husband and I have an incredible gestational carrier. I am so grateful for Emily. She is an incredible resource of knowledge and is the go to for all surrogacy. Emily will forever have a special place in my heart, as she was the first person to help ease me into the surrogacy world and instilling hope that our dreams of having a family can come true.

My partner and I were beginning to explore gestational surrogacy for our one and only embryo, which we naively believed would be a straightforward process. We started reaching out various clinics/agencies, and very quickly found ourselves completely disheartened and overwhelmed by discouraging and conflicting information. I shared my utter distress with a friend, who lucky enough knew Emily and connected us immediately. Emily was warm, kind and disarming from the moment we spoke.
